In 2022, the average import price for steel, stainless; semi-finished products, other than of rectangular cross-sectia amounted to $20,686 per ton, rising by 26% against the previous year. In general, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 67% against the previous year. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (-5.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
