In September 2023, the average export price for sugars; fructose, chemically pure, in solid form amounted to $1,194 per ton, rising by 1.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 6.1% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1,282 per ton. From May 2023 to September 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Canada ($1,677 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($858 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2023 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mexico (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The import price peaked at $1,829 per ton in May 2023; afterwards, it flattened through to September 2023.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2023, the country with the highest price was Israel ($1,979 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($1,421 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2023 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Finland (+63.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
