In 2022, the average import price for swine; live, pure-bred breeding animalses amounted to $2,017 per unit, surging by 2.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 55%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
