The average export price for synthetic staple fibres, not carded, combed or otherwise processed for spinnings stood at $1,135 per ton in May 2024, which is down by -2.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2023 an increase of 5.3% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $1,176 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to May 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
