The average export price for tea, green; (not fermented), in immediate packings of a content exceeding 3kg stood at $1,938 per ton in December 2022, picking up by 2.8% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 14% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $2,112 per ton in May 2022; however, from June 2022 to December 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
