The average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes stood at $1.6 per square meter in March 2022, dropping by -41.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a remarkable increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2021 when the average import price increased by 128% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2.8 per square meter in February 2022, and then declined sharply in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($2.5 per square meter), while the price for China stood at $998 per thousand square meters.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+8.2%).

Overall, the export price, however, recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in September 2021 when the average export price increased by 184% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $3.3 per square meter in February 2022, and then declined in the following month.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($3.1 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Georgia amounted to $2.5 per square meter.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+25.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
