In March 2024, the average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes amounted to $11.5 per square meter, declining by -7.4% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 15% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $13.0 per square meter. From August 2023 to March 2024, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In March 2024, the country with the highest price was Japan ($13.8 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Russia ($6.0 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.4%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 38% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $16.3 per square meter in December 2023; however, from January 2024 to March 2024, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($46.4 per square meter), while the price for Turkey ($4.7 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+12.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
