In 2022, the average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes amounted to $6.3 per square meter, dropping by -27.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 32%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $8.7 per square meter in 2021, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($18 per square meter), while the price for Belgium ($1.6 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+17.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes stood at $6.1 per square meter in 2022, declining by -2.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a moderate expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.1% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes increased by +71.8% against 2017 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 57%. The export price peaked at $6.2 per square meter in 2021, and then fell modestly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($15 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Turkey ($2 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+12.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Textile Fabrics; Impregnated, Coated, Covered or Laminated with Polyurethane in the Czech Republic
In 2022, the amount of textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes imported into the Czech Republic rose notably to 14M square meters, growing by 7.3% compared with 2021 figures. Overall, imports, however, continue to indicate a noticeable curtailment. Over the period under review, imports of hit record highs at 15M square meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, imports of textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes declined dramatically to $86M in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a mild setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 15%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $112M, and then dropped markedly in the following year.

Exports of Textile Fabrics; Impregnated, Coated, Covered or Laminated with Polyurethane in the Czech Republic
For the third year in a row, the Czech Republic recorded decline in overseas shipments of textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes, which decreased by -13.8% to 8.7M square meters in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a dramatic curtailment. The smallest decline of -8.5% was in 2021. The exports peaked at 18M square meters in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, exports of textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes dropped rapidly to $53M in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 2%. The exports peaked at $65M in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
