The average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes stood at $8.9 per square meter in February 2024, surging by 32% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated a moderate expansion from February 2023 to February 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +3.8% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on February 2024 figures, export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes increased by +32.3% against January 2024 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was the UK ($13.7 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($581 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Australia (+6.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price faced a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 an increase of 129% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $6.8 per square meter in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to February 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Pakistan ($10.9 per square meter), while the price for China ($179 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+10.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
