In December 2022, the average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes amounted to $6.6 per square meter, increasing by 6.1% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.0%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 42% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in December 2022.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was Germany ($17.7 per square meter), while the price for Portugal ($3.4 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+9.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyurethanes stood at $3.3 per square meter in December 2022, dropping by -13.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price showed a noticeable shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average export price increased by 29% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $4.6 per square meter in April 2022; however, from May 2022 to December 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was Germany ($15.9 per square meter), while the average price for exports to France ($3.7 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Textile Fabrics; Impregnated, Coated, Covered or Laminated with Polyurethane in Tunisia
