In February 2024, the average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides amounted to $4.2 per square meter, with a decrease of -37.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price saw a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2023 when the average export price increased by 15% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $7.7 per square meter. From December 2023 to February 2024, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was North Macedonia ($10.7 per square meter), while the average price for exports to China ($277 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Bosnia and Herzegovina (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides stood at $1.7 per square meter in February 2024, with a decrease of -49.2% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a pronounced contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 58% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $3.3 per square meter in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to February 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was the UK ($8.9 per square meter), while the price for China ($1.4 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+10.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
