In February 2024, the average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides amounted to $4.9 per square meter, falling by -15.6% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2023 an increase of 29% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $6.0 per square meter in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to February 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($9.7 per square meter), while the price for Turkey ($1.3 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+12.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In February 2024, the average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides amounted to $7.0 per square meter, with a decrease of -11.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2023 an increase of 26% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $8.3 per square meter. From September 2023 to February 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Morocco ($10.6 per square meter), while the average price for exports to Germany ($2.0 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hungary (+3.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Textile Fabrics; Impregnated, Coated, Covered or Laminated with Polyvinyl Chloride in the Czech Republic
In 2022, supplies from abroad of textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides was finally on the rise to reach 9.9M square meters for the first time since 2019, thus ending a two-year declining trend.
