In February 2024, the average import price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides amounted to $786 per thousand square meters, falling by -3.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price continues to indicate a mild decrease. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2023 when the average import price increased by 6.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $973 per thousand square meters in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to February 2024, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Italy ($3.0 per square meter), while the price for China ($580 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Malaysia (+0.5%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In February 2024, the average export price for textile fabrics; impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with polyvinyl chlorides amounted to $1.4 per square meter, shrinking by -7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 an increase of 9.3% m-o-m. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $1.6 per square meter. From November 2023 to February 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major export markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was the UK ($2.1 per square meter), while the average price for exports to North Macedonia ($563 per thousand square meters) was amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to February 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Algeria (+3.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
