In February 2024, the average export price for textile fabrics, rubberised; other than those of heading no. 5902s amounted to $1.8 per square meter, waning by -22.5% against the previous month. Overall, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2023 an increase of 24% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2.7 per square meter. From January 2024 to February 2024, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was South Africa ($7.3 per square meter), while the average price for exports to France ($1.2 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

In February 2024, the average import price for textile fabrics, rubberised; other than those of heading no. 5902s amounted to $2.8 per square meter, with a decrease of -8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 an increase of 14% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $3.3 per square meter in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to February 2024, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In February 2024, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($8.1 per square meter), while the price for Italy ($1.5 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 18% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.
In value terms, exports of textile fabrics, rubberised; other than those of heading no. 5902s expanded remarkably to $36M in 2022. In general, total exports indicated a strong expansion from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +12.2% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +41.2% against 2019 indices.
