The average export price for textiles; worn clothing and other worn articleses stood at $1,159 per ton in December 2023, increasing by 27% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, showed a abrupt curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 an increase of 35% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $2,177 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Georgia ($2,764 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($360 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

In general, the import price, however, posted a slight expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 111%. The import price peaked at $3,732 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
