In November 2023, the average import price for tomatoes; prepared or preserved otherwise than by vinegar or acetic acid amounted to $1,504 per ton, surging by 9.4% against the previous month. Over the period from November 2022 to November 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 14% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $1,762 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
