The average import price for trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues stood at $2,975 per ton in December 2023, rising by 17% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, recorded a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 20% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $4,228 per ton. From February 2023 to December 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was Poland ($22,816 per ton), while the price for Latvia ($1,577 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues stood at $7,953 per ton in 2022, jumping by 32% against the previous year. Over the period under review, export price indicated a pronounced increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for trade advertising materials and commercial catalogues increased by +63.8% against 2019 indices. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Ireland ($12,457 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($2,588 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Finland (+6.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
