In 2022, the average export price for trade, exhibition, library, personnel and other specialized trailers and semi-trailers amounted to $24,436 per unit, picking up by 2.9% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a strong increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, export price for trade, exhibition, library, personnel and other specialized trailers and semi-trailers increased by +73.1% against 2012 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($54,031 per unit), while the average price for exports to Burkina Faso ($8,999 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+18.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average import price for trade, exhibition, library, personnel and other specialized trailers and semi-trailers stood at $23,084 per unit in August 2023, surging by 7.3% against the previous month. Over the last ten-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.7%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 25% month-to-month. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $24,275 per unit; afterwards, it flattened through to August 2023.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($4,498 per unit), while the price for Switzerland ($1,378 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From October 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (+5.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

After three years of growth, overseas shipments of trade, exhibition, library, personnel and other specialized trailers and semi-trailers decreased by -6.5% to 9.8K units in 2022. The total export volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% from 2019 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 30% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $250M, and then declined slightly in the following year.
