In June 2024, the average import price for t-shirts, singlets and other vests; of cotton, knitted or crocheted amounted to $2.0 per unit, increasing by 2.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2023 when the average import price increased by 3.5% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $2.0 per unit in January 2024; afterwards, it flattened through to June 2024.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2024, the country with the highest price was Vietnam ($2.6 per unit), while the price for the Dominican Republic ($1.3 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2023 to June 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Mexico (+1.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
