Price for Tube or Pipe Flanges, Other than Stainless Steel in China (FOB) - 2024
In May 2024, the average export price for tube or pipe flanges, other than stainless steels amounted to $1,550 per ton, picking up by 4.1% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2023 an increase of 5% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $1,725 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to May 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In May 2024, the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,143 per ton), while the average price for exports to South Africa ($1,043 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From May 2023 to May 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average import price for tube or pipe flanges, other than stainless steels amounted to $9,699 per ton, picking up by 43% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $9,738 per ton in 2019; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.
