The average import price for turbo-jets, turbo-propellers and other gas turbineses stood at $121 thousand per unit in 2022, increasing by 10% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average import price increased by 58% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $303 thousand per unit. From 2017 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($488 thousand per unit), while the price for India ($20 thousand per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Serbia (+17.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for turbo-jets, turbo-propellers and other gas turbineses stood at $201K per unit in March 2024, dropping by -9.1% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a mild curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2023 an increase of 60% month-to-month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $377K per unit. From January 2024 to March 2024, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($2.5M per unit), while the average price for exports to Qatar ($44,673 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From April 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+15.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of turbo-jets, turbo-propellers and other gas turbineses decreased by -6.1% to 8.1K units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% over the period from 2019 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 6.9%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
