The average import price for turbo-jets, turbo-propellers and other gas turbineses stood at $136 thousand per unit in 2022, falling by -11.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a abrupt curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 75% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $520 thousand per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Over the period under review, the export price posted significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when the average export price increased by 845%. The export price peaked at $491 thousand per unit in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($1 million per unit), while the average price for exports to Maldives ($43 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Singapore (+138.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
