The average import price for vegetables, brassica; brussel sprouts, fresh or chilleds stood at $1,884 per ton in October 2023, with a decrease of -17.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, posted a tangible increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 66% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $3,819 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($1,948 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands amounted to $1,876 per ton.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+2.5%).

The average export price for vegetables, brassica; brussel sprouts, fresh or chilleds stood at $2,355 per ton in 2022, dropping by -11.6% against the previous year. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
