In January 2024, the average import price for vegetables; olives, provisionally preserved but unsuitable in that state for immediate consumptia amounted to $2,545 per ton, increasing by 15% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a mild descent. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $2,935 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to January 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
