In 2022, the average import price for vitamins; vitamin B12 and its derivatives, unmixeds amounted to $16,115 per ton, jumping by 45% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate measured growth. The import price peaked at $16,920 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Bulgaria ($18,811 per ton) and Turkey ($16,534 per ton), while the price for Georgia ($13,529 per ton) and Uzbekistan ($13,784 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
