The average export price for waste, parings and scrap, of plasticses stood at $112 per ton in October 2023, waning by -72.6% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price saw a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2023 when the average export price increased by 39% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $427 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Turkey ($113 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine stood at $108 per ton.

From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Croatia (+29.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
