The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 18% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $1,075 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to October 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major supplying country, the average price level is determined by prices for Ukraine.

Over the period from October 2022 to October 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.9%. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 32% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $1,497 per ton. From September 2023 to October 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Serbia.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Greece amounted to +16.8% per month.
