Price for Winding Wire of Copper in Indonesia (FOB) - 2022

In March 2022, the average winding wire of copper export price amounted to $10,400 per ton, picking up by 11% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.5%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Malaysia ($27,331 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United States ($7,068 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Malaysia (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
