Price for Winding Wire of Copper in Latvia (CIF) - 2024

The average winding wire of copper import price stood at $6,622 per ton in January 2024, reducing by -23.4% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a perceptible downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in October 2023 when the average import price increased by 47% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $12,782 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to January 2024, import prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2024, the country with the highest price was Estonia ($18,608 per ton), while the price for Sweden ($1,821 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+1.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
