Price for Winding Wire, Other than of Copper in Italy (FOB) - 2024

In January 2024, the average export price for winding wire, other than of coppers amounted to $13,716 per ton, falling by -8.2% against the previous month. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a pronounced slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 an increase of 38% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $27,594 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to January 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($46,258 per ton), while the average price for exports to Norway ($7,701 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2023 to January 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovakia (+44.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
