The average import price for wine; still, in containers holding 2 litres or lesses stood at $5.5 per litre in June 2023, dropping by -14.4% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price saw a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2022 an increase of 58% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $7.4 per litre in June 2022; however, from July 2022 to June 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($11.7 per litre), while the price for Spain ($2.1 per litre) was amongst the lowest.

Overall, the export price showed a mild increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 76% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $11.6 per litre in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to June 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($11.0 per litre), while the average price for exports to the United States ($1.7 per litre) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+10.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 30%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $18M, and then dropped modestly in the following year.
