In 2022, the average import price for wood amounted to $8.8 per cubic meter, with an increase of 7.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the average import price increased by 21%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $11 per cubic meter. From 2020 to 2022, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($25 per cubic meter), while the price for Latvia ($7.1 per cubic meter) was amongst the lowest.
From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ukraine (+34.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

From 2017 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (+10.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
