The average wood; posts and beams import price stood at $1,322 per ton in November 2021, increasing by 2.2% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated a measured increase from November 2020 to November 2021: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.8% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on November 2021 figures, wood; posts and beams import price decreased by -3.6% against September 2021 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in December 2020 when the average import price increased by 25% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $1,371 per ton in September 2021; however, from October 2021 to November 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
