In December 2021, the average export price for wood; statuettes and other ornaments of wood amounted to $25,065 per ton, rising by 9.8% against the previous month. In general, the export price continues to indicate a prominent increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2021 when the average export price increased by 109% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in December 2021.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($37,123 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($12,493 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Kuwait (+17.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
