The average import price for wood; statuettes and other ornaments of wood stood at $7,394 per ton in December 2021, declining by -7.4% against the previous month. Over the last eleven months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2021 an increase of 17% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $7,986 per ton in November 2021, and then declined in the following month.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was Poland ($13,404 per ton), while the price for Indonesia ($4,570 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+4.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+5.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
