In December 2021, the average import price for wood; statuettes and other ornaments of wood amounted to $4,185 per ton, increasing by 7.3% against the previous month. Over the period from January 2021 to December 2021, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in August 2021 when the average import price increased by 10% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $4,310 per ton in October 2021; however, from November 2021 to December 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was India ($4,179 per ton), while the price for Indonesia ($3,817 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From January 2021 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+1.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+30.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
