Price for Wool, Not Carded or Combed in Peru (FOB) - 2021
The average export price for wool, not carded or combed stood at $2,390 per ton in March 2020, which is down by -10.7% against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a pronounced slump. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in February 2020 when the average export price increased by 5.5% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,676 per ton, and then shrank in the following month.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In March 2020, the country with the highest price was Germany ($3,190 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($2,167 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
