The average import price for yarn of other vegetable textile fibres; paper yarns stood at $3,619 per ton in March 2024, with an increase of 40% against the previous month. Over the period under review, import price indicated a pronounced increase from March 2023 to March 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.9% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
