The average export price for zinc; unwrought, (not alloyed), containing by weight 99.99% or more of zincs stood at $2,624 per ton in April 2024, falling by -4.4% against the previous month. Overall, the export price recorded a slight descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in November 2023 when the average export price increased by 4.2% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $3,123 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to April 2024, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In April 2024, the highest price was recorded for prices to the United States ($3,107 per ton) and Thailand ($3,079 per ton), while the average price for exports to China ($2,532 per ton) and Taiwan (Chinese) ($2,668 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
