The average zinc; waste and scrap export price stood at $2,153 per ton in June 2023, declining by -9.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a pronounced decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 45% against the previous month. The average zinc; waste and scrap import price stood at $3,315 per ton in 2021, picking up by 80% against the previous year. Overall, the import price enjoyed buoyant growth. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
