Printed Circuit Price in Colombia (CIF) - 2022
The average printed circuit import price stood at $0.2 per unit in 2022, rising by 9.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 11% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $0.3 per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($0.4 per unit), while the price for Thailand ($0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Hong Kong SAR (+8.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
Printed Circuit Price in Colombia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average printed circuit export price amounted to $0.2 per unit, rising by 11% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a dramatic decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 an increase of 154% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $2 per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($0.4 per unit), while the average price for exports to Chile (less than $0.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Chile (-1.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Printed Circuit Imports in Colombia
For the fourth year in a row, Colombia recorded growth in overseas purchases of printed circuits, which increased by 25% to 47M units in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a significant increase from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +20.5% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +74.8% against 2019 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
