Prisms and Mirrors Price in China (FOB) - 2023
The average prisms and mirrors export price stood at $26,817 per ton in August 2023, picking up by 8.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in April 2023 when the average export price increased by 28% m-o-m. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $36,814 per ton. From May 2023 to August 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($36,275 per ton), while the average price for exports to Indonesia ($3,329 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Poland (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In September 2023, the average prisms and mirrors import price amounted to $145K per ton, surging by 3.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in August 2023 when the average import price increased by 14% month-to-month. The import price peaked in September 2023.
