In 2022, production of cow peas (dry) decreased by -0.3% to 16K tons, falling for the second consecutive year after two years of growth. Overall, production, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the production volume increased by 1.3%. As a result, production attained the peak volume of 16K tons. From 2021 to 2022, production growth failed to regain momentum.
