In 2022, production of paddy rice in the United States rose markedly to 9.5M tons, with an increase of 9.3% on the previous year. The total output volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.3% over the period from 2017 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period.
