Pulses Price in Latvia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average pulses export price amounted to $395 per ton, surging by 20% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, continues to indicate a deep reduction. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $661 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to France ($421 per ton) and Egypt ($407 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($377 per ton) and Germany ($380 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+25.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average pulses import price stood at $357 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 20% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a deep downturn. The import price peaked at $958 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
