Pumpkin Price in Malaysia (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average pumpkin export price amounted to $413 per ton, increasing by 3.7% against the previous year. Over the period from 2013 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.9%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the average export price increased by 53%. The export price peaked at $476 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Singapore.

The average pumpkin import price stood at $1,118 per ton in 2022, picking up by 28% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a resilient increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 62%. The import price peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
