The average quartzite import price stood at $54.1 per ton in July 2023, shrinking by -57% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 when the average import price increased by 227% m-o-m. The import price peaked at $337 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to July 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
