Refined Soybean Oil Price in the United Arab Emirates (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average refined soybean oil export price amounted to $1,156 per ton, which is down by -10.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a pronounced curtailment. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average export price increased by 35% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $1,727 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Bahrain ($1,166 per ton), while the average price for exports to Jordan stood at $990 per ton.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Saudi Arabia (-0.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

The average refined soybean oil import price stood at $1,308 per ton in 2022, dropping by -9.9% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 41% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $1,651 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
