Rice Price in Costa Rica (CIF) - 2022
In 2022, the average rice import price amounted to $457 per ton, picking up by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. For the fourth year in a row, Costa Rica recorded growth in overseas shipments of rice, which increased by 9.9% to 21K tons in 2022. In general, total exports indicated a significant expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +22.8% over the last three years.
