In 2022, the average root and tuber import price amounted to $807 per ton, increasing by 13% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 37% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
